National Honor Society (NHS)

The National Honor Society is a student group that honors academic excellence and integrity, as well as personal involvement in activities of the school and community. It is based on the four principles of leadership, service, scholarship, and character.

Students must be enrolled at ORCA for one semester and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be considered for membership. Calls for candidates open each school year in the spring after first semester grades have been posted.  New members are inducted at the start of the school year - students must be 10th graders or higher at the time of induction.
